Diane was born in Connecticut and raised in Atlanta, which accounts for the wide variety and diverse subject matter she has painted throughout her career. Initially, she was granted a scholarship and attended the Atlanta School of Art and in relatively short time began producing work on a commissioned basis. Diane's involvement with Swanston Fine Art Gallery in Atlanta led to sales of existing and commissioned paintings which continued to be in demand by a variety of coroporate and private collectors.

Painting professionally for thirty years, using a diversity of wildlife, seascapes, landscapes, architecture and nauticals for subject matter and working in virtually all mediums, Diane is now finding fresh inspiration in the Low Country, painting golf landscapes under the close tutelage of the internationally renowned golf artist, Linda Hartough. Her paintings of the 18th and 9th Holes at Ospery Cove Club and the 10th Hole at Furman University were featured in the recently released book, Fine Art of America's Fairways.
